History 

Randy Sturgis opened the doors of a brand new business in 1999 in Rock Hill, South Carolina. Like many new businesses, Sturgis Digital Communications (as was named in the beginning) was faced with the same issues as most start-ups. Unlike most other businesses, there was no model to follow or use as an example of how to operate this type of a technology business. Good business principles and some trial and error, trial and success were the focus. 

Our vision to provide community banks with outstanding, user-friendly web sites, and local governments with online search, view, and pay options launched Sturgis Web Services into a company with a vision and philosophy based in solutions. That vision has opened new doors into new markets throughout the Southeast. Today, Sturgis provides Online Utility Billing, Presentation and Payment, Property and Vehicle Tax Estimators, Parks and Recreation Online Signup and Payment, along with a wide range of web site tools for community banks and local governments.  

Through the years, Sturgis Web Services has continued to gain knowledge and expertise in all areas of technology and how it applies to each client.
